You're the
Boss©
Starting and growing an
entrepreneurial
business.
All employees
are actually self-employed business owners with one primary
client, their employer. When the needs of that client
change and the employee relationship shifts, many
individuals are interested in exploring opportunities to
formally establish themselves as "self-employed" with many
customers or clients. This program provides a straight-forward, honest assessment of the benefits and the
challenges inherent in business ownership.
In this program, you will learn how to:
-
Create a
long-term vision and short-term mission for the
business.
-
Define the philosophy of the business (structure, purpose,
uniqueness, strengths, weaknesses, obstacles).
-
Describe
an ideal customer profile.
-
Identify
the demographics of the target market and assess
customer needs.
-
Determine
product / service mix to meet customer needs.
-
Research
industry trends and evaluate competitive advantage.
-
Develop a
distribution approach and a pricing strategy.
-
Determine
staffing levels, roles, and responsibilities.
-
Review an
approach to developing financial
projections.
-
Develop
short and long-term action plans.
-
Review the
format for a business plan.
In
addition to a full-day format (maximum of 30 participants), this program can be tailored
for a keynote presentation
(unlimited number of audience participants) or a half-day program, depending
upon the needs of the audience.
To discuss how
this program could be designed to meet the needs of your
organization, the desired outcomes for group participants,
and the program costs, email
