Presenting
with Pizzazz! ©
The art of persuading,
promoting, and presenting.
To be
successful in the 21st century workplace, individuals must
be effective at presenting their ideas and influencing
others. Whether one-on-one, in small groups, or in
front of large audiences, the art of effective presentation
and self-promotion is a skill that can be mastered through
training, practice, and experience.
Delivering
presentations can be particularly challenging since we now
are competing with MTV. Audiences expect
to be constantly entertained, educated, and motivated within
a short, "sound bite" attention span. In
order for participants to integrate new knowledge and enhance
skills, presentations must
be dynamic, participant-driven, and based upon adult
learning principles.
In this
program, you will:
-
Understand
the difference between effective self-promotion and "ego
talk".
-
Practice
strategies to effectively influence others or
self-promote in a one-on-one or small group situation.
-
Learn
about the latest techniques for engaging adult
audiences.
-
Design
presentations to achieve desired outcomes.
-
Create effective
visual and supporting materials.
-
Cultivate
a positive learning environment.
-
Manage the
logistics.
-
Practice effective
delivery techniques.
This
program is offered as a keynote presentation (unlimited
number of audience members) or in a half-day or full-day
training session for a maximum of 30 participants.
